Questions donors ask
Is my payment secure?
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor. Your card details go directly to Stripe's encrypted infrastructure and are never stored on our servers.
How much of my donation reaches families?
All of it. Shaan Welfare charges no platform fee. The only deduction is the card processing fee, which you can optionally cover so the full amount arrives.
Can I cancel a monthly donation?
Yes, at any time and without explanation. Email us or message any of our WhatsApp numbers and it stops immediately.
How is Zakat handled?
Zakat is tracked separately from general donations and distributed only to recipients eligible under Islamic guidelines — never toward administration.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. A receipt is emailed as soon as your donation completes. Formal receipts carrying our registration details are available on request.
